TablTrack ("we", "us", "our") is a QR-menu and ordering platform for restaurants and food businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard your information when you use our website, mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When a restaurant owner registers, we collect name, email address, restaurant name, phone number and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). Staff accounts are created by the restaurant admin and include name, email and role.
2.2 Order Information
When a customer places an order we may collect: table number, customer name, phone number, email, delivery address, order items and special instructions. This information is provided voluntarily by the customer at the time of ordering.
2.3 Payment Information
Payments are processed through Razorpay. We do not store credit card numbers, UPI IDs or banking credentials on our servers. Razorpay's own privacy policy governs the handling of payment data.
2.4 Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, time spent on pages and referral URLs. This data is used for analytics and improving the Service.
2.5 Push Notification Subscriptions
With your explicit consent, we store browser push notification subscription details (endpoint URL and encryption keys) to deliver real-time order and billing notifications. You can opt out at any time through your browser settings or the in-app controls.

- To process payments through Razorpay

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following cases:
- Razorpay: Payment processing (transaction data only)
- Hosting providers: Database and application hosting (e.g., Vercel, Render)
- Legal compliance: When required by law, court order or government request
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (with notice)
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/HTTPS), password hashing (bcrypt), role-based access control and regular security audits. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as the account is active. When a restaurant or user account is deleted, personal data is removed or anonymized within 30 days. Aggregated and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format

8. Cookies
We use a single session cookie (tabltrack_session) for authentication. This cookie is essential for the Service to function and expires after 7 days. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
